Originating from a musically prominent family , Guruprasad initiated his journey in classical music at a young age 7.
Guruprasad is recognized as an upcoming expounder and a challenging artist in the field of music. He is receiving his taalim for Tabla under Maestro Pt.Yogesh Samsi. Also, he is a profound Harmonium player and training under Pt. Sudhir Nayak.
His love and passion for Indian classical music navigates him through new musical avenues. His peculiar way of accompaniment with various instruments and vocal artists captivates the audiences and showcases a whole new range of rhythmic expressions.
He has had the honour of accompanying many stalwarts in the industry such as Taalyogi Pt.Suresh Talwalkar, Pt.Yogesh Samsi, Pt.Swapan Chaudhuri, Ustaad Taufiq Qureshi, Pt. Shubhankar Banerjee, Pt.
